This collaborative project between University of Bristol, Bristol SU and Bristol 24/7 magazine required a brand identity that was striking and impactful.

approach
The aesthetic was inspired by Time Magazine Person of the Year feature, which had the gravitas I wanted to come across in the BME Powerlist.
I created a variety of print and digital promotional materials to encourage nominations, of which we were pleased to exceed our target of 500.
After the powerlist of 100 were chosen by a panel of influential judges, I coordinated the featured candidate photoshoot, and designed the BME Powerlist brochure.
Brochure images were shot by the wonderful Sarah Koury at KOlab Studios, with supplementary images by myself.
outcomes
The Bristol BME Powerlist campaign has since been nominated for the Diversity Marketing Campaign of the Year at the Inclusive Companies Awards
As part of Black History Month celebrations over 16,000 copies were printed and distributed around Bristol by Bristol 247 Magazine. The Powerlist was also distributed to local schools by several Bristol MPs.
