Oxford Students’ Union wanted to communicate the amazing things they have achieved over 2020-21, despite an extremely challenging year.
They approached me to create a 52-page Impact Report, filled with the inspiring achievements from students, sabbatical officers and their staff team. This needed to be on-brand, accessible and engaging to students, alumni and stakeholders.
To promote Oxford SU’s values and mission, I worked to maintain accessibility throughout the design, with high contrast colours used throughout, and breaking up text heavy segments with infographic style icons.
As a student-led organisation, I felt it was important to use photography of students where ever possible to illustrate the text.
To stay sustainable, I suggested keeping the impact report a (mostly) digital publication, with a short run of printed brochures produced for key stakeholders only.
