Student Union Strategic Report Design
The brief
Bristol SU asked us to bring their new strategy to life through a design that would feel fresh, creative and on-brand. The SU wanted the strategy to reflect its commitment to putting students at the heart of everything it does, while presenting information in a clear, engaging and accessible way.
The project involved developing a visual identity for the strategy that could work across multiple formats, including a printed report, a digital one-pager, and presentation materials. We made sure the design was consistent, adaptable and easy to use in future communications. We were also tasked with refreshing existing brand elements to keep the look and feel aligned with Bristol SU’s confident and inclusive tone, while introducing new ideas to make the content stand out.

Approach
We developed a vibrant and accessible design that reflected Bristol SU’s bold, inclusive brand while feeling fresh and creative. Our aim was to make the strategy engaging for a wide audience, from students to staff and stakeholders, through clear layouts, bold colour and distinctive graphic elements.
We created a consistent visual language across all materials, with icons and infographics to help key messages stand out and to support reuse across future communications.
The final strategic report and supporting materials worked together to communicate the vision with clarity and energy. The design brought the content to life in a way that felt distinctly Bristol SU – accessible, student-focused and bold.
