The brief
I was commissioned to create a logo, brand design, social media assets and stationery for small business owner Clare Diston.
Being a proof reader, editor and writer who often works with astronomy texts, the client wanted the logo to reflect a combination of these themes.
Clare needed a professional and cohesive brand identity for her small business, to help convey the high quality service she offers.

approach
I wanted to combine the astronomy and writing themes in a simple but pleasing logo icon, so I experimented with lots of different pen and quill illustrations, before settling on the final design.
I paired the modern line-art icon with a classic and sophisticated serif font.
Jess worked on the rebranding for my freelance business. She designed a new logo and all the assets I need for social media and my website. A pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend her services!
